Talk: Intentional Spaces with Muuto, 13th June 2024

The field of neuroaesthetics explores how physical objects and spaces shape our behavior and emotions, but how can we use that knowledge to create meaningful interiors? During 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, design brand Muuto is hosting a conversation with four leading figures in design and research, which I will moderate.  

Christoph Brach – Founder of Raw Color, Marie Hesseldahl – Partner at 3XN/GXN and Head of Interior and Product Design, Rebecca Chamberlain – Senior Lecturer in Neuroaesthetics at Goldsmiths, University of London, and Line Brockmann Juhl – Chief Marketing Officer at Muuto, will discuss the evolving neuroaesthetic discussions within the design industry, providing perspectives on how to create spaces that truly impact our emotions and behaviour. 

The talk starts at 11am at Muuto HQ & Space Copenhagen, Østergade 36-38, DK-1100 Copenhagen, Denmark.

Talk: Dezeen x Moroso talk, 17th May 2024

Dezeen and Moroso are hosting a talk and drinks to coincide with the launch of new collections from the Italian design brand.

I will host a conversation with Patrizia Moroso and designers Zanellato/Bortotto, discussing the craftsmanship and manufacturing process used to create the Mangiafuoco collection.

The talk will start at 5:30pm at Moroso’s flagship store, 105 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10016.

Talks: Design Hotels, Gaggenau and moooi at Milan design week 2024

During Milan design week, I’ll be hosting a number of talks with a variety of talents including Yves Behar, Marcel Wanders and Li Edelkoort.

The talks, staged by Dezeen, include a panel discussion about neuroaesthetics for Design Hotels, an exploration into the power of reduction in design for Gaggenau, and a deep dive into the senses for moooi.
