I wrote an article about the phenomenon that is Milan design week, suggesting that the industry has given up on reducing its planetary impact and creating products for regular people. Do we really want to be remembered for creating more nice stuff for wealthy people to occasionally use?
Talks: Design Hotels, Gaggenau and moooi at Milan design week 2024
During Milan design week, I’ll be hosting a number of talks with a variety of talents including Yves Behar, Marcel Wanders and Li Edelkoort.
The talks, staged by Dezeen, include a panel discussion about neuroaesthetics for Design Hotels, an exploration into the power of reduction in design for Gaggenau, and a deep dive into the senses for moooi.
