Update: slow to update!

I was once warned that a news section on a website is a burden to update. I dismissed it at the time but alas, it has been more than 18 months since I added any news…

A short update here: I’ve written several articles on Dezeen, for example, exploring the impact of US tariffs, the difficult trading conditions imposed by Brexit, the ongoing problems with Milan design week, as well as 10 things wrong with design.

I’ve moderated multiple talks mostly in Europe, in cities including London, Milan, Stockholm, Prague, Copenhagen, Antwerp, Munich, Helsinki, Dubai and Seoul. A particular highlight for me was my conversation with Brian Eno and Tori Tsui at the World Design Congress in London in September 2025. I’ve interviewed other design ‘greats’ including John Pawson, Alice Rawsthorn, Yves Behar, Ineke Hans, Ross Lovegrove, Li Edelkoort, Luca Nichetto, Sabine Marcelis, Tom Dixon, Bethan Laura Wood and many more.

At Dezeen, we launched a newspaper-style publication called Dezeen Dispatch in Stockholm and Milan, as well as a new weekly podcast called, you guessed it, Dezeen Weekly.

There’s much more news but that’ll do for now!
