Article for Planted: ‘Time to regenerate our farms’
An opinion piece for Planted, highlighting the nuances of our farming systems and urging us to separate from industrial farming and move to regenerative systems that are small scale, locally adapted, resilient, biodiverse and steward the land and animals back to health.
Catalogue: Bruno Mathsson Prize 2021
In 2021, Swedish designer Mönica Forster was awarded the prestigious annual Bruno Mathsson Prize. Her achievement was marked with an exhibition of her work at Vandalorum museum. Alongside writer Gustaf Kjellin, I was commissioned to write an essay in the exhibition catalogue, exploring Mönica’s international reach throughout her career.
The catalogue is available to visitors of the exhibition, running at Vandalorum from 20th November 2021 until 18th April 2022.
New book: Offecct x Lucy Kurrein
I was commissioned by Swedish furniture brand Offecct to write this book profiling one of their collaborating designers, Lucy Kurrein. The book portrays the life of this British designer and the multiple influences from the art world that she carries into her furniture creations.
The book is third in a series about Offecct’s collaborations with various designers, including Matti Klenell and Luca Nichetto. Published by Arvinius + Orfeus Publishing.
