Max Fraser works as a commentator across the various media outlets that surround the design industry and, more recently, food and farming. He writes for magazines and newspapers, authors books, curates exhibitions, speaks at events worldwide and consults for public and private bodies. This diversity of output prompts people to ask him, "what exactly do you do?" This website acts as a portfolio of his work and hopefully goes some way to answering that question. Talk: The impact of art and architecture on shaping our environment, 16th November 2023

In partnership with the charity Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y), I will be hosting a panel discussion exploring the charity’s work as well as discussing the impact of art and architecture on shaping our environment. I will be joined by architect and co-founder of Black Females in Architecture Selasi Setufe, poet and installation artist LionHeart, and co-founder of LP4Y Laure Delaporte.

The event will take place at Cromwell Place, 4 Cromwell Place, London SW7 2JE from 6:30pm on 16th November 2023.

Talk: Dezeen x Bentley Lighthouse talk, 22nd September 2023

Dezeen has teamed up with car brand Bentley for the latest in their series of Bentley Lighthouse Talks.

Taking place during the London Design Festival event, I will be joined by San Francisco studio Fuseproject‘s founder and designer Yves Béhar and design studio PriestmanGoode‘s managing director Kirsty Dias, as well as TRL‘s head of automated transport Karla Jakeman and Bentley’s design director Robin Page.

The talk, titled ‘Towards a new future of mobility’, will discuss innovative new directions in mobility and transport design.

Doors will open at Cromwell Place, 4 Cromwell Place, London SW7 2JE at 12pm, with the talk starting at 12:30pm, followed by a drinks reception until 2:30pm.
